Last night i stayed up to watch the England-Portugal match. Being a football novice with hardly any knowledge about the beautiful game at all, i actually thought England was playing good! haha...

Then came the turning point of the match-Wayne Rooney gotcha sent off! for pushing his own club mate, Cristiano ronaldo. I wonder if Dior is watching. according to my memory that guy was her all time favourite footballer. :)

To me it seemed, England played just as though they had 11 men, but when i brought it up to the football expert, my sister, she gave me this incredulous look. the What-are-you-saying-they-obviously-don't-play-like-there-is-11-men-look. oops. sorry, i don't watch as many games as she does so i don't really know what's considered good football and what's bad. to me, as long as there's a whole loads of goals, its a good game. haha. bet my sister must be giving me this mocking and pitying look when she sees this.

Anyway, England missed quite a number of goal scoring chances. I kept sneaking peeks at my sister to check out her facial expressions. Once she got so agitated she punched her fist on the sofa and let out a frustrated sound. I was kind of amused to see her, watching the match with this intensed look, eyes lit up every time England neared the portugal goalpost and then look away in aggravation whenever they missed. When it came to the penalty shootout stage, she was completely ashen faced and left for the toilet. She said she couldnt bear to watch the history repeat itself(Euro 2004).

Alas for her and England. Same thing happened. they say lightning does not strike twice, but here it goes, striking again. hmmm... i wanted to watch the brazil vs france match later on but was kinda afraid my mom will scold, so i sacrificed watching, thinking for sure the brazil will win.

how weird life is. surprisingly they lost to france. When my sis told me the score at 5 am in the morning i thought i was i was dreaming. but it wasnt a dream...

hmmm...read ronaldinho's blog in the morning. His language is so funny! it sounds like like a typical young teenager blogging about his life. seems like he has a totally happy-go-lucky character. cant believe he's already 25. '

anw, my sister wants to blog too. and we have to go to our gran's house soon...so..blog some other time.

Our Promise (:
